Visit by the C-2 transport aircraft of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) in the Maldives

On December 8, 2025, C-2 transport aircraft of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) made a stopover at Velana International Airport for the transport mission associated with the 2025 Self-Defense Forces Joint Exercise Overseas. Ambassador Ishigami met Major Odahara, the pilot of C-2 and its crew, and extended her best wishes for their successful mission.
