Ambassador of Japan presents credentials to the President

Malé, February 4, 2025 - Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Maldives, Her Excellency Mrs. ISHIGAMI Rumiko, presented her Letters of Credence to the President, His Excellency Dr Mohamed Muizzu, at a ceremony held at the President's Office.
During the call, the President and the Ambassador expressed hope for continuing and further advancing the longstanding bilateral ties between both nations. The President further conveyed appreciation for the significant contributions made by the Government of Japan across various developmental efforts in the Maldives.
