Embassy of Japan participated in Open Day at Maldives National University

On January 21, the Embassy of Japan participated in the Open Day held at Maldives National University and promoted Japanese language and culture to students and staffs.
The Embassy introduced traditional Japanese culture, such as calligraphy and Kendama, and also provided information about the Japanese language classes currently offered at Maldives National University.
Many students who visited the Embassy’s booth expressed their interest in the Japanese language and culture, and it was also a wonderful opportunity for us to help deepen their understanding of Japanese culture.
