Farewell Greetings by the Ambassador H.E. Takeuchi to the Minister of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development Dr. Mariyam Mariya

On 11 December, H.E. TAKEUCHI Midori, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Maldives, met with the Minister of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development, Dr .Mariyam Mariya and paid a farewell greeting to her.
During the courtesy call, they reviewed about programmes that focus on human resource development, including the MEXT scholarship and the JDS programme. They also discussed the agricultural projects that are currently underway by UNDP with the support of the Japanese government.
At the end, Dr. Mariyam Mariya expressed her gratitude to Ambassador H.E. Takeuchi for a great contribution to the Maldives during her tenure and expressed her desire to continue to cooperate with Japan.
