Presentation Ceremony of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star upon Mr. Ahmed Khaleel（November 6, 2024）

On November 6, 2024, a presentation ceremony was held at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo and “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star” was delivered upon Mr. Ahmed Khaleel, the former Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to Japan, in recognition of his invaluable contributions to strengthening the friendship between Japan and the Maldives.
 
Mr. Ahmed Khaleel is the first Maldivian to receive a national decoration from the Government of Japan.
