Second Alumni Gathering for MEXT Scholars Held by the Embassy of Japan

On September 19, 2024, the Embassy of Japan organized its second Alumni gathering for MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) scholars. This event brought together alumni to reconnect and discuss ways to promote the MEXT Scholarship program.
During the gathering, several alumni presented their experiences and insights, highlighting the valuable opportunities provided by the scholarship. The discussions focused on how to encourage more students to consider studying in Japan and to enhance the visibility of the MEXT program.
The event was honored by the presence of Ambassador H.E. Mrs. Takeuchi Midori, who offered her encouragement and support to the alumni.

Note: The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) of Japan offers three different scholarships for non-Japanese nationals who wish to study in Japan. Each year, the Embassy of Japan opens applications for Research Students, College of Technology Students, and Specialized Training College Students. The application period typically begins in May.
