Call for 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake Donations (Acceptance of Donations in Maldives)

We appreciate your kind offer of donation to support the people affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake which struck Japan on 1st January 2024.
We are pleased to announce that we opened the Maldives account to accept the donations and the acceptance of donations in person by the Embassy of Japan in Maldives. Donations can be made either in cash to the Embassy office or via our Maldives bank account as detailed below.

2. Acceptance of donations by the Embassy of Japan in Maldives
Donations received by the Embassy of Japan will be remitted to the Japanese government at a later date. If you would like to remit the money to the Japanese Red Cross Society instead, please let us know and we will do so accordingly.Donations to both the Japanese Government and the Japanese Red Cross Society will be distributed to the people affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake.
