Closing Ceremony of the International VBSS Course for Boarding Officers

            

             November 26, 2020 - Ambassador of Japan to Maldives, Her Excellency Keiko Yanai attended and gave remarks at the closing ceremony of the first International Visit, Board, Search and Seizure (VBSS) Course. A total of 24 participants successfully completed the course i.e. 6  from Kenya and 6 from Tanzania and 12 participants from Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) Coast Guard respectively. This course was conducted by the UNODC’s Global Maritime Crime Programme with the financial support of the Government of Japan.
