Pre-departure orientation for “JENESYS2019”

    The Embassy of Japan in Maldives held a pre-departure orientation for “JENESYS2019” second-batch participants on Tuesday, January 14. They will stay in Japan for nine days so as to experience many facets of Japanese life.      JENESYS is an abbreviation of a ‘Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths’.  The Japanese government invited five Maldivian working youths and five university students for the second-batch of the program under the theme of “Communications”.
 
    Addressing the orientation, the Ambassador of Japan to Maldives H.E. Ms. YANAI Keiko encouraged to make the most of this trip and utilize the knowledge obtained when back home.
 
    In Japan, Maldivian participants will have many opportunities to learn economics, politics, society, history and culture of Japan, by attending lectures, visiting universities, private enterprises and museums, making a courtesy call on a local government and exchanging opinions. The participants will take part in a home-stay program, too.
 
 
  The Embassy of Japan in Maldives wishes them to have a variety of experiences in Japan.
